Joglo house is a traditional home area of South Kalimantan (Banjar house) which has a pyramid roof. Joglo house called the Round House too. Houses like this are also found in the city of Pontianak, West Kalimantan.

Round house is located in the village of lords, Marabahan, Barito Kuala. Joglo home building form consists of 3 composition pyramid roof that lined the back with an additional smaller pyramid roof on the rear of the kitchen building (Padu). Limas house like this if in Java called Houses Limasan Endas Barbadensis is a pyramid roof that lined three backwards.

In Banjarmasin also contained type Joglo house called Joglo Warehouse is one fruit pyramid roof with sky Sindang jointed roof in front and behind the roof Hambin Cloud. There is also a large Warehouse Joglo model with additional scenery porch to the left side and right side of the house.

Etymologically derived from the word Joglo and warehouse. Named Houses Joglo because it resembles a model house called the Javanese Limasan Joglo house, while the term 'warehouse' for the section under the house (which is in a language called Banjar berumahan) is used as a warehouse for storing forest products, rubber which is a traded commodity in ancient times.

In Banjarmasin, these types of homes occupied many of the Chinese-Banjar. Houses Joglo Warehouse is one local architectural treasures of wealth in South Kalimantan that once flourished in the past.

According to one literature, that: "Group of wealthy Chinese Joglo type usually build homes, with the technique of Banjar. Roof Limasan, piled high that sometimes carved. The bottom of the home serves as a central repository of forest products, rubber and so on."

Joglo Warehouse with features; Limasan shaped roof piled high, the lower house became a place to store goods of forest products, very large size of the house more than 40 meters. Four Aspects Joglo with novel traits; house rectangular shape and smaller size.
