Pier's Port Home
Pier's Port is a spacious six-bedroom home, with an attached in-law unit, den, an upper loft, and a sewing room. The various roof heights, roof brackets, and dormers create a level of intimacy, so that the house doesn't feel as large as it really is.
A front covered deck greets you at the entry, before entering into the foyer. In the foyer, there are a coat closet and a door to the mudroom/laundry room, which is connected to the garage. From the foyer, the open dining and living areas are straight ahead. The kitchen is located next to the dining area, and has a breakfast nook, a walk-in pantry, and a center island. A 43" high counter at the sink area divides the kitchen from the dining area, allowing you to see into the open living space as you wash the dishes. The living room opens up with a vaulted ceiling above, and has a gas fireplace that sits in one corner. On one side of the room is a stairwell, a half bath, a pair of doors to a den, and a door to the master bedroom. The master bedroom features a walk–in closet, and a spacious full bathroom.
On the other side of the living area is an attached in–law unit, which may be used for a live–in nanny. It has a small kitchen, a dining area, a living room with a fireplace, a laundry room, a full bath and a bedroom with a walk–in closet. There is also a stairwell to both the upper and lower floors, and a door to the exterior for an alternative entrance.

After coming up the central stairwell, there is an open loft in the center of the house. The ceiling is vaulted here and is punctured by skylights, which bring in sunlight to the central loft space and to the living room and breakfast nook below. Next to the stairwell are a bedroom with its own private full bath, two more bedrooms and another full bathroom. On the other side of the loft is the sixth bedroom, which has a second door leading to a hallway to the secondary stairwell. There is also a sewing room, a storage closet, and a sixth bathroom located here.
The basement level has a central family room that is open to a spacious game area, and has glass doors that lead to the backyard. A full bath and a computer room are located off the central space. There are also plenty of unfinished spaces, which may be used as mechanical rooms, workshop spaces, and storage.
